Gia Kuan

Gia Kuan started Gia Kuan Consulting in 2019 by earning a reputation for her unique and non-linear media approach, growing each client's business beyond a traditional public relations campaign. She is known for being able to conceive and implement impactful and bespoke PR strategies for each client, as well as being able to interconnect between fields and practices, connecting each client with a host of creative talents and influencers such as business leaders, designers, performers, artists, curators, thus increasing the effectiveness of her communication strategies.

Previously, Gia was a Director at Nadine Johnson & Associates, where she oversaw the Arts & Culture department and specialized in media relations for clients including the Outsider Art Fair, Museum of Sex, Whitney Museum, Henry Street Settlement, AFTA, Free Arts, Swiss Institute, and as well as special projects and events for hospitality and fashion clients ranging from Chefs Club, Hermes, Burberry, Zegna, and more. Gia was also previously at Comme des Garcons and Dover Street Market New York for over five years where she led all in-house press relations for their internal and external retailer brands. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Gia is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Gia graduated with a degree in Media & Communications from the University of Melbourne, Australia and a graduate degree in fashion marketing from Parsons The New School for Design. She has lived in Manhattan for the past 13 years.
