About The Stereotype Project Foundation

Founded in 2021, TSPF is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income tax within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. TSPF works to challenge cultural stereotypes and improve the perceptions of cultural and social groups around the world.

It is seeking to deconstruct the way we learn about people and cultures while highlighting the gaps and illuminating limited and biased representations of social groups in the media. It has a variety of programs that aim to do this by investigating social norms and creating new solutions to correct biased stereotypes and eradicate language that perpetuates stereotypes in society.

The first step is to build a comprehensive global database that indexes every stereotype associated with a diversity group, which can serve as a resource for content creators, students, researchers and the general public, in order to drive cultural change.
